This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 2。8 stars ✨ “It’s the beautiful moments like these that make up for the ugly love。”Okay so i have a lot to say about this book。 I will start with the positives。 I did like the way the book was written， it was fun and easy to read。 I really enjoyed the two different chapters in each of the characters perspective。 That made it really fun to read， and I enjoyed the spice。 In my opinion it is a great starter book for people who are new to reading。 Now on to the negatives。。。 the book was a bit too bl 2。8 stars ✨ “It’s the beautiful moments like these that make up for the ugly love。”Okay so i have a lot to say about this book。 I will start with the positives。 I did like the way the book was written， it was fun and easy to read。 I really enjoyed the two different chapters in each of the characters perspective。 That made it really fun to read， and I enjoyed the spice。 In my opinion it is a great starter book for people who are new to reading。 Now on to the negatives。。。 the book was a bit too bland in a way， i knew miles had a dark past and that he was clearly hurting but I just did not enjoy how it was so prolonged。 Though i enjoyed having 'dual' chapters （Tate and Miles past chapters）， the Tate chapters started to get boring。 I don't know how to explain it， but i feel like the book was lacking something。 AND ALSO。 I love smut。。。 i mean who doesn't。 But it got to the point where I found myself getting annoyed at how much smut there was。 They would be having a conversation and then boom SEGGS。 and it just occurred at the most unconventional times and it left me feeling really weird。 Characters:Tate- her character kind of annoyed me at times， she knew what she was getting herself into and then was upset whenever she got hurt。 I mean how many chances are you willing to give someone who constantly tells you he only wants you for seggs。 Miles- ahhh okay miles。。。 I really felt for him because I knew something was going on。 However it just really annoyed me how he closed himself off to the whole idea of love even when someone was being so caring and compassionate towards him。 He had the worst little meltdowns and outbursts and that's when I felt for Tate。 I loved the '6 years earlier' version of him， but not the man we met through Tate's eyes。 Cap- i liked learning about his past， good advice。 whats a babe xxxCorbin - protective brother， but punching Miles when he deserved it was greatIan- he knew about Miles' past all along， and I was just wondering how he kept it all in。 Rachel - oh my gosh。 i hated rachel until the second last chapter。 I hate how she let herself find love， after leaving Miles。 I know what happened was tragic， but why is she letting all her pain onto him。 He lost Clayton as well， he saved her。 It just angered me because she easily could have given Miles a better state of mind after she found Brad， but instead she left him， unforgiven and with the blame and guilt。 But I respected her when she had that conversation with him and helped him to realise he can love。 Scenes that hit me -1。 The car crash - this tragedy left me gobsmacked and shattered （don't really need to explain myself）2。 When Rachel just left。 I found that so insensitive 3。 The grief seggs scene。 That made me so uncomfy4。 The seggs scene where they did 💥 really intensely and then he slammed the door5。 When he broke down after having a big go at Tate - major manipulator vibes from miles6。 CLAIRE- when rachel took miles to the crib。 i found that so harsh and cruel， it made me cryThe ending 🥳The ending was so beautiful， the usual happy ending cliché。 However I did not let all the sunshine and rainbows draw away from the fact we had to wait the whole book for him to realise he loves her。 But it was a great ending and it made me happy。 Epilogue It was just so beautiful and gave the book a great ending。 And i cried when they had a baby。 I was so concerned for Miles because he was not feeling anything。 And then when it finally hit him， it hit me Overall 🧚I enjoyed this book， if it didn't have Miles darkness it would change everything。。。 obviously。 However sometimes the characters really got under my skin， and I did feel like the book was lacking something， i just can't wrap my head around it。 。。。more

I downloaded Tik Tok （is that how you write it or is it one word？ I'm so old。。。） solely to take a look at the infamous BookTok that a few of my friends had been raving about， and that led me to this book。 Everyone who posted about 'five books that made me sob' included this book。 I had to see if I would feel the feels too， so I got the book。I didn't feel the feels。 I did listen to it over the course of 48 hours， but that was because I had a long travel day。 I think listening may have been a slig I downloaded Tik Tok （is that how you write it or is it one word？ I'm so old。。。） solely to take a look at the infamous BookTok that a few of my friends had been raving about， and that led me to this book。 Everyone who posted about 'five books that made me sob' included this book。 I had to see if I would feel the feels too， so I got the book。I didn't feel the feels。 I did listen to it over the course of 48 hours， but that was because I had a long travel day。 I think listening may have been a slight detriment （which doesn't happen often）。 I found passages where Hoover's humor would've probably shined through in writing， but the narrator didn't really do it justice。It was still a good book。 I enjoyed it。 3。5 stars， probably。 It just didn't live up to the BookTok hype。 。。。more

unpopular opinion time: this book is an itty bitty bit overhypedaaaand i have a couple reasons for that and they all point back to our hero， miles。 the way he handled the no-strings-attached arrangement with tate really rubbed me the wrong way。 at a certain point into it， miles was for sure 100% aware that tate was developing feelings for him and getting her hopes up of something more coming out of all of the sex they were having。 but yet he continues to sleep with her and act like her boyfriend unpopular opinion time: this book is an itty bitty bit overhypedaaaand i have a couple reasons for that and they all point back to our hero， miles。 the way he handled the no-strings-attached arrangement with tate really rubbed me the wrong way。 at a certain point into it， miles was for sure 100% aware that tate was developing feelings for him and getting her hopes up of something more coming out of all of the sex they were having。 but yet he continues to sleep with her and act like her boyfriend。 they had multiple conversations about the whole 'don't ask about my past and don't expect a future' and red flags were definitely raised and indicated tate was falling for him and he acknowledged it。 on more than one occurrence。 and this man kept having sex with her。he also continually told her he didn't want to get her hopes up before proceeding to turn around and act like her boyfriend。 he kissed her in front of her brother， held her hand， touches her face all sweet-like， and told her she was pretty。 that is very clearly boyfriend behavior。 i cannot wrap my brain around how he honestly expected her not to get her hopes up when his actions were never corresponding with his words。 he was the biggest hypocrite ever。 okay rant over。 basically my only problem with this book was miles's behavior。 their romance was cute and i did love them together as a couple。 unfortunately the plot twist was spoilt for me and that's my dumb ass fault but it was still a1 because colleen hoover never gives us anything less than that ;） 。。。more

Colleen Hoover is a queen。It’s crazy to see how so much pain can change someone。 Miles struggled to overcome his painful past and didn’t think it was possible。 Until he met Tate。 Their chemistry was over the moon and I loved getting to read how their relationship transformed。I also loved getting to see Miles’ perspective of his past。 It was written in a poetic style， which was wonderfully effective。 To me， it helped illustrate how in love he felt and how the ugly sides of love truly affected him Colleen Hoover is a queen。It’s crazy to see how so much pain can change someone。 Miles struggled to overcome his painful past and didn’t think it was possible。 Until he met Tate。 Their chemistry was over the moon and I loved getting to read how their relationship transformed。I also loved getting to see Miles’ perspective of his past。 It was written in a poetic style， which was wonderfully effective。 To me， it helped illustrate how in love he felt and how the ugly sides of love truly affected him。This raw story talks of love and forgiving yourself。 It also includes spicy romance， while also dealing with tough issues and fears。 I felt a whirlwind of emotions while reading， but so worth it！ I think this beautiful book ended perfectly。Oh and can’t forget to show Cap some love❤️ shoutout to the best flight captain out there！ 。。。more
